Henri Gaillard
Côtes de Provence
Henri Gaillard was the best wine broker in the Côtes de Provence area for the Crus et Domaines de France company. He was very well-known among the wine-growers, with whom he would wander up and down among the vines seeking the best parcels, and they had great respect for his committed involvement in the Provençal wine-producing world.
A descendent of an old Languedoc family, he is considered as a pioneer of this until recently neglected region. Always attentive to what the professionals had to say, he resurrected many old grape varieties, such as the Tibouren, which add finesse and elegance. « I always had a tight relationship with the winegrowers with who I used to stride along in the provencial vineyards in the aim to seek the best vine plot to elaborate great and noble wines. » Henri Gaillard.
Today the consistent quality of this wine is assured by winemaker Vincent Euzet.
Vinification: short maceration process (24 to 48 hours) at 15°C. Pressing, racking - with a rotating filter in the best cases- fermentation between 16 and 18 °C. STabilisation, wine clarification and conservation in inert atmosphere.
